Encourages taking action now to prepare for the future
PEARCY — The Lake Hamilton School District has chosen the motto “Now is the Time” for the 2018-19 school year.
The district hopes this new motto will encourage students, parents, and staff to take action now to prepare for the future ahead.
Lake Hamilton has several new programs that will be implemented throughout its buildings on campus as well as several new faces in its administration, teaching, and school staff.
On the district level, Lake Hamilton has created a brand-new instructional facilitator position for the sciences. Dylan Campbell will be serving in this role. standards-based grading this year, allowing parents to receive more detailed information regarding their students’ progress and growth throughout the year. Laura Hunt has been hired as the Career Development facilitator to ensure that all Lake Hamilton students and staff are aware of the importance of planning for success beyond high school. Lake Hamilton High School strives to ensure that every student has a goal for success beyond high school, a plan to achieve that goal, and support in place to help achieve that goal. Lake Hamilton has partnered with Hobsons to provide the Naviance learning platform. Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness platform that enables self-discovery, career exploration, academic planning and college preparation.
