Mark D. Tyler, 55, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Aug.

11, 2018.

He was born June 11, 1963, in Hot Springs, to Odis Earl and Margie Lee (Bradford) Tyler.

Mark was a loving father and husband of 31 years. He was known for his infectious smile and big hugs to brighten ones day. Mark was passionate about fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He also enjoyed all of his time with “the breakfast club,” which kept him well fed many days after work. If you couldn’t find him at home or work, you knew he would be at the lake or the woods with friends or family enjoying his life. His legacy will be carried on by his co-workers, fishing buddies and most of all his family.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Tyler; sons, Seth Tyler, of Hot Springs, Cody Tyler (fiancé: Chelbi Dulin), of Cabot; mothers, Sue Tyler, of Texarkana, Ark., Margie Tyler, of Hot Springs; brother, Jeff Tyler, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sisters, Diane Niemeyer (Greg), of Texarkana, Ark., Karmyn Cobb (Chris), of Manhattan, N.Y.; in-laws, Cheryl Miles (Bill), of Hot Springs, Tina Dixon (Tracy), of Texarkana, Ark.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved fur babies, Isabelle, Ky and Nahla.

Mark was preceded in death by his father; brother, Tim Tyler; niece, Maggie Minter; and paternal grandparen­ts, L.O. and Vivian Tyler.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebratio­n of Mark’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with Brother Wade Overturf officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery in Lonsdale.

Pallbearer­s include Seth Tyler, Cody Tyler, Gene Wilson, Mike Radic, Daniel Chavez and Bobby Morris.

Honorary pallbearer­s are the Hot Springs Police Department dispatch, Hot Springs Police Department, staff of National Park Medical Center ER, Dr. Scott Anderson, Jack Halderman, Jerry Heaton, Chris Crary and Matthew Smoot.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside High School Fishing Team, 2871 Malvern Ave., Hot Springs, AR
