NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Pearlie Mae (Richards) Garland, of North Little Rock, formerly of Hot Spring, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at the age of 75.

Ms. Pearlie was born to Charles and Annie Bell (Barnes) Richardson on March 9, 1943, in Lewisville, Ark. Upon graduating high school, she went on to attend Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock. While living in Little Rock, she met and married Thomas (T.J.) Garland.

This union produced four beautiful children.

Ms. Pearlie is survived by her daughter, Annette Garland, of Baltimore, Md.; son, Candy Lynn Garland (April), of Jacksonvil­le, Ark., and daughter, Kimberly Garland, Hot Springs; two grandsons, Shannon and Jerome Adams, both of Austin, Texas, and one granddaugh­ter, Kandice Garland, of Jacksonvil­le, Ark. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Richardson; husband, T.J. Garland; and one daughter, Torrea Jackson.

A memorial service will take place at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services, 336 E. Grand Ave., Hot Springs, Ark., at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17. Burial will take place immediatel­y afterwards at the family cemetery in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, JoAnn, Ark.
