James “Jim” Henry Goodman, 85, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Aug. 13, 2018.

He was born Aug. 27, 1932, in Wilburton, Okla., to Jesse and Mamie (Himes) Goodman.

He retired from the United States Air Force as a chief master sergeant after 26 years of service.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Betty McCoy.

Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Peggy Goodman, of Hot Springs; son, Larry Gene Goodman, of Lobelville, Tenn.; daughters, Lisa Holder (Eric), of Fort Worth, Texas, Patricia Hass (Dan), of Marietta, Ga.; stepdaught­ers, Laura Habighorst (Dean), Lisa Biggers (Terry), both of Hot Springs; grandchild­ren, Marie Suda (Jon), Andrew Holder, Erin, Nicole and Ryan Hass, Kyle and Kirby Habighorst, Justin and Garrett Biggers, Jimmy and Jason Goodman; great-grandchild­ren, Violet and Natalie Suda, Ezra Biggers, Aubree and Silicia Goodman; nephew, Jess McCoy; niece, Ethel Carmichael.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebratio­n of Jim’s life will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with Teddy Frye officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Cunningham Cemetery.

Pallbearer­s include sons-inlaw and grandsons. Honorary pallbearer­s are Bill and Phyllis Stewart, Nancy and Boyce Rodgers, Marty Conner, Gabe, Carlos and RB. Special thanks to Chantele and Cynthia.
