Kathryn Wallace

Kathryn Wallace, 73, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Aug. 23, 2018. She was born Oct. 3, 1944, in Hot Springs, to Lowell and Inez (Boyd) Thacker. Kathryn retired from Kroger after 22 ½ years. She loved making her delicious and beautiful Christmas candy, and her family loved eating and couldn’t wait to get it. Christmas will never be the same.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stevie Thacker; sister, Mary Jane Gann; and granddaughter, Kirby Cash.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Paul Wallace; sons, Steve Wallace and Tim Wallace (Debbie); daughter, Cyndi Pate (Tony); brothers, Harold Thacker, Boyd Thacker and Steve Longinotti; sisters, Deneva Ladd and Debbie McVay; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; great-granddog, Lucy; and her fur babies, Roxie and Ziggy.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lowe Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Dustin Wallace, Stevie Wallace, Brandon Wallace, Catlin Wallace, Keifer Wallace, Tony Pate, Landen Wallace and Jaxon Wallace.
