Owner Ron Paolucci said Oaklawn-raced Fuhriously Kissed was an allowance winner Wednesday at Thistledown in Ohio. The race was a prep for the Grade 1 $500,000 Spinster Stakes on Oct. 7 at Keeneland Race Course in Kentucky.
Fuhriously Kissed finished second in two maiden special weights events in 2016 at Oaklawn before being claimed by Paolucci for $62,500 March 15 at Gulfstream Park in Florida. In Fuhriously Kissed’s first start for her new connections, she ran third in the Grade 1 $700,000 Apple Blossom Handicap for older fillies and mares on April 13 at Oaklawn.
Also pointing for the Spinster is Eskimo Kisses, who broke her maiden and won a first-level allowance race this year at Oaklawn. Eskimo Kisses won the Grade 1 $600,000 Alabama Stakes for
3-year-old fillies Aug. 18 at Saratoga in her last start.
