Fountain Lake rolls Harmony Grove

FOUNTAIN LAKE — Fountain Lake rolled over Haskell Harmony Grove Thursday evening at Irvin J. Bass Gymnasium, winning both the varsity and junior varsity matches in straight sets.

The Lady Cobras (8-1, 2-0 3A-South) downed the Lady Cardinals (3-10, 1-5) handily in the first set, 25-6.

Haskell Harmony Grove had a couple decent rallies in the second and third sets, but Fountain Lake walked away with wins of 25-10 and 25-11 to take the match.

Erin Graves led the Lady Cobras with three aces among her 15 service points with 10 digs. Presley Hamric had two big blocks on the net with four kills, and Carena Bledsoe led the offense with nine kills, four digs and a block.

The junior varsity squad took wins of 25-21 and 25-11 in the sweep.

Brooke Wyatt led the squad with 11 service points with two aces while tallying three digs and five assists. Gracie Peters led the defense with 13 digs while serving for four points with two aces, Hannah Bearden added 11 digs with two blocks, a kill and two aces among her three service points and Siera Peters added 10 digs with three assists, a kill, a block and five service points. GG Goyner led the offense with seven kills, and Lenaya Hunter added three kills with seven digs and an ace.

The Lady Cobras travel to Ashdown Tuesday while Harmony Grove will be at Episcopal Collegiate.
