Tennessee author Billie Cash speaks to HSV Morning Connection
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — At 9:30 a.m. Oct. 17, the featured Stonecroft speaker for Hot Springs Village Morning Connection will be Billie Cash, author of six books.
Cash resides in Collierville, Tenn., with her husband Roy. Attending the University of Memphis, she majored in theater, which led to ventures in radio at WHER, America’s first “all women” station, television and performance roles in several states. For 30 years, she was immersed in the challenges of military life. In Navy life, she wrote motivational workshops which took her to Navy commands, civic and marketing groups, nursing staffs and public schools.
She is a retreat and conference speaker who has done itineraries in the British Isles and the Dominican Republic. Recently she has developed new materials for retreats: “You are God’s Masterpiece” (Eph.2:10) and “Embracing the Fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23). She moderates a “God and Country” prayer group and mentors women in prayer and writing. Cash brings humor and authenticity framed with biblical insight for today’s woman.
There will be a silent auction fundraiser. Stonecroft ladies will donate gift baskets, baked goods, fall flower arrangements, gift certificates and other items to benefit Stonecroft and the Morning Connection.
Join Stonecroft ladies once a month for inspiration, food and fellowship. Bring a friend or put together a table of ladies. Hot Springs Village Morning Connection requires no membership or dues to attend its meetings that are held the third Wednesday of every month at Diamante Country Club, 2000 Country Club Drive, Hot Springs Village. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. All area women are welcome to the breakfast buffet, inspirational speakers and fellowship for $15, inclusive.
