Hattie O.F. Grace

PARON — Hattie Othelda Ford Grace, 92, of Paron, passed away on Oct. 10, 2018. She was the oldest of four sisters.

Hattie was born to Homer Carl and Luttie Mae Moore Ford on Dec. 9, 1925, in Hot Springs, Ark. Hattie’s path lead her to Michigan and back to Paron, where she always called home. She loved to hunt and travel. Hattie loved all animals, great and small.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Grace; and sister, Georgetta Hester.

Hattie leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Danny (Barbara) Grace, of Benton, Lannie Rickard, of Paron; daughters, Janice (Harlon) Hobbs, of Alexander, Theresa (Dillard) Garrett, of Paron; and sisters, Willie Jeff Curtis, Paron; Rosella Oglesby, Texas; 11 grandchild­ren, 12 great-grandchild­ren and four great-great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Ashby’s.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Ashby Funeral Home chapel with burial at Center Hill Cemetery. Minister will be Brother Tommy Oglesby.

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Anne Hamparian, 95, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away Oct. 10, 2018.

She is predecease­d by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward.

Loving survivors include brother, Harry (Millie); sons, Scott (Teresa) Hamparian and Timothy Francek; and many grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Daniel Byron Herrick, 74, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Hot Springs Funeral Home.

Private burial will be at State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Ark.

Richard D. Hurst Jr.

Richard “Ricky” Doyle Hurst Jr., 59, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Sept. 10, 2018.

He was born Sept. 5, 1959, in Hot Springs, to Richard Doyle Hurst Sr. and Betty Sue (Brown) Cline.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his stepfather, Billy Cline; daughters, Stacy Aprillouis­e Hurst (James Colquit), Sandra Lynn Cline, both of Hot Springs; brother, Richie Hurst (Tanya), of Jessievill­e; sisters, Debra Collier (Mark Simmons), of Hot Springs, Susan Trott (John Nelson), of Monticello, Cindy Travis (Robert), of Jessievill­e; four grandchild­ren; uncle, Mickey (Marylou Brown), of New York; and good friends, Rusty and Shonnah Hewitt and Mortisha Woody.

A celebratio­n of Ricky’s life will be 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with Shelly Brown officiatin­g.

Donald Gordon Knabe, 81, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully Oct. 4, 2018.

Charles Leppert

Charles (Chuck) Leppert, 99, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018.

He was born on Sept. 14, 1919, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Edward and Theresa Leppert. He was a teacher and assistant principal in the Lombard Junior High School in Lombard, Ill., he was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.

He was predecease­d by his parents; his wife, Bernadine; two daughters, Marilyn and Diane; two brothers, Robert and Lawrence Leppert.

Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. Sunday until service time at 3 p.m.

Celebratio­n of his life service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Nazarene Church with Pastor Conley Henderson officiatin­g.

Pallbearer­s are Larry Rhodes, Don Jones, Justin Phillips and Don Henderson.

Honorary pallbearer­s are Clay Pate, Verlin Anthony, Mickey Wright, his nieces and nephews, Betty Paszli and Rheta Sargent.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.

Burial will beat 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Chariton Cemetery in Chariton, Iowa.
