Pop-Up on Park: An Evening of Artists set for Friday

Hot Springs artists will “pop-up” at 910 Park Ave. from 5-8 p.m. Friday offering uniquely crafted holiday gift items for sale.

“All of the items are locally made and feature each artist’s creative expression and story,” a news release said.

While exploring the different booths, shoppers can listen to the musical art of Bluesboy Jag and the Juke Joint Zombies from 6-8 p.m. and grab a bite with local food truck Itz G d Füd, which specialize­s in locally grown, gluten and chemical free fare.

The free event is open to the public.

Local artisans attending include:

• Angenuity — unique jewelry crafted from vintage finds.

• Beastman Caravan — handmade leather products for adventurer­s everywhere.

• DollEyes — hand-formed polymer clay jewelry.

• Elizabeth Strawn-Jones — vintage clothing and handmade purses.

• Jerri Hillis — handcrafte­d cards, jewelry and visual art.

• Kat Lunsford Photograph­y and Kitten Creations — photograph­ic and portrait art, jewelry.

• Kevin Riley — hand-formed and crafted pottery and carved wood.

• Kristi M. Cobb — hand-cast copper pieces that incorporat­e found items.

• Laura Myers — framed vintage illustrati­ons, framed film photograph­s, succulents and natural stone jewelry.

• Leviathan Kraken — steampunk and fantasy jewelry and art.

• Lucy Bright — mix and match handcrafte­d magnets from recycled material.

• Lynn Holoch — locally made ear cuffs and ear climbers.

• Rosemary Wooten — a local visual media artist with a variety of styles and talents.

• Tracie Konnelly — fluid poured abstract paintings.

• Vida Timmons — macramé hangings that incorporat­e natural stones, wood, and wire.

“Art, music, food and fun — what more could you ask for? October is the perfect time to sit outside and enjoy the season, meet neighbors and friends, and support the Hot Springs creative community. Please make plans to join us,” the release said.
