Patricia A. Cudworth
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The world lost a sweet and gentle soul on Saturday, Oct. 13,
2018. Patricia Ann Cudworth
(79), young bride to Ed and loving wife of 61 years, passed away suddenly, leaving behind three children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
As a child, Pat grew up in many towns across Iowa and Minnesota. This wanderlust continued into married life with multiple relocations throughout the U.S., before settling in Hot Springs Village 31 years ago. Pat was co-chair of the Symphony Board Parade of Homes, a member of PEO and supporter of Cotty College. She was an ardent patron of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Shriners Hospitals for Children, and the seminarians of the Diocese of Arkansas. A devout Catholic, Pat knew that prayer changes lives. Pat loved to craft, knit, crochet and sew — Always a housewife, she transformed every house into a beautiful and warm home.
Pat will be remembered most for her unconditional love and devotion to family and friends. She was always kind and never met a stranger. Her passing leaves an empty place in our hearts and lives. She will be missed.
The family extends our gratitude to Father Bill Elser of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, as well as the ER and ICU teams at CHI St. Vincent hospital in Hot Springs.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in HSV with Father Bill Elser officiating.
