HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Residents have a wide variety of activities to choose from, including:

TENNIS

The Coronado Tennis Center is a 13-court complex with USPTA-certified teaching profession­als, a lounge and pavilion. Ten of the center’s courts are clay and the remaining three are hard surface. Come play for an hour or join the Hot Springs Tennis Associatio­n — a

PICKLEBALL

One of the fastest-growing recreation­al pastimes in the Village, the pickleball club has more than 200 members. Games are played at the Family Recreation Area courts located on DeSoto Boulevard and are lighted for night play.

VILLAGE LAKES

There are 11 recreation­al lakes in the Village — each unique in its own way.

Lakes Segovia, Pineda, Isabella, Granada, Estrella and Sophia are smaller lakes that offer fishing and swimming.

Lake DeSoto spans 200 acres, Lake Cortez 245 acres, Lake Coronado 380 acres and Lake Balboa 944 acres. These lakes offer skiing, fishing and boating. Lakes Balboa and DeSoto have full-service marinas including boat rental.

There are swimming beaches at Lake Balboa, Lake Cortez and Lake DeSoto and Lakes Balboa and Cortez feature large covered pavilions that can be used for family reunions or other gatherings.
