Henderson Alumni Lunch Bunch to meet Friday at West Shores
The Henderson Alumni Lunch Bunch will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at West Shores Retirement Community, 2607 Albert Pike. Karen Lauck will present a program called “The Lum And Abner Thanksgiving Radio Show.” Call B.J. Smith, 321-2144, by noon Thursday to make reservations.
Hot Springs Emblem Club to hold monthly meeting
Hot Springs Emblem Club No. 194 will hold its monthly business meeting at 7 p.m. today. The club will honor past presidents and hold a memorial service for deceased members. There will be refreshments afterward. All members are asked to attend.
Iris, daylily expert to address HS Daylily Society Saturday
Robert Treadway will be the guest speaker when the Hot Springs Daylily Society meets at
10 a.m. Saturday at First Methodist Christian Life
Center at Pratt and Grand Avenue.
Treadway, a minnow farmer from Prairie County, has a passion for growing things. His primary interest is in iris and daylilies with an emphasis in Louisiana Iris. He is an American Iris Society Mas- ter Judge and is the current president of the Society for Louisiana Iris. He maintains an extensive iris and daylily collection along with beds of Louisiana iris seedlings.
Photographer to speak at HSV Audubon Society
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Award-winning photographer Tim Ernst will present his new program “Arkansas — Ten Years of Wilderness Photography in the Natural State” a collection of images from his previous six books, at 10 a.m. Thursday at Coronado Community Center, 150 Ponderosa Lane.
