Blood drives planned today, throughout week

Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following times and locations this week:

• Today — 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Family Life Center at Legacy Church, 3540 Central Ave.

• Monday — 2:15-6 p.m., Lake Hamilton Intermedia­te School Kids Care, cafeteria, 104 Wolf St.

• Tuesday — 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Bismarck High School cafeteria stage.

• Thursday — 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Baptist Health Medical Center cafeteria, 3050 Twin Rivers Drive, Arkadelphi­a; 1-4 p.m., First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 611 S. Main St., Malvern.

• Friday — 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mount Ida Elementary Kids Care safe room gym, 430 Ball Park Road.

• Sunday, Dec. 2 — 9 a.m. to

1 p.m., First Lutheran Church Family Life Center, 105 Village Road.

All donors will receive a long-sleeved holiday shirt, “Make It A Tradition,” a health screening, Donor Reward Points, a blood-type card and refreshmen­ts. Donors must be at least 16 years old. Donors may also donate whole blood, double red cells, platelets or plasma at the Donor Center, 149 Section Line Road, Suite G, by calling 501-6240666. All donations support hospitals in Arkansas and donations can be credited to a patient in any hospital.
