Tempa Jo Poindexter Moore, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Saturday, Nov.

24, 2018, in her home, at the age of 73.

Tempa was born in San Antonio, Texas, Nov. 3, 1945, to the late Helen and Duval Poindexter. She graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1963, and attended Arkansas State Teachers College, now UCA, where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority.

She spent many years of her career in the medical field, where she retired as a certified research coordinato­r at HealthStar Research.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Moore; daughter, Stacey Richardson, Charley Mack Richardson, grandchild­ren, Allie, Ethan and Lila Richardson, all of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; her son, Tripp Terry, of Hot Springs; sister, Kim Poindexter Black and husband Larry, of Stuttgart. Also, her niece, Kaitlin Black, of Clarendon, Ark.; and nephew, Tyler Black and wife Laci, of Paragould, Ark.; and one uncle, Joe Webb, of Richland, Wash.

Arrangemen­ts are provided by Caruth Funeral Home. The family will hold a beachside memorial in Charleston, S.C.
