Tigers set kickoff time for Ferris St.

ARKADELPHI­A — Ouachita Baptist has set the time for Saturday’s NCAA Division II Super Region 3 final against Ferris State for 1 p.m. at Cliff Harris Stadium.

The Great American Conference champion Tigers (12-0, 110) advanced through the regional semifinals on Saturday with a

35-7 home win over Indianapol­is (10-2, 7-0), from the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

The Great Lakes Intercolle­giate Athletic Conference champion Bulldogs (13-0, 8-0) eliminated GAC qualifier Harding (9-3,

9-2) in the first round of the NCAA Division II Football Championsh­ip playoffs on Nov. 17 before advancing, 27-21, Saturday past Northwest Missouri State (10-3, 9-2), from the Mid-America Intercolle­giate Athletics Associatio­n.

Tickets are available for purchase and season ticket holders will be able to purchase their current seats through Friday. Season ticket holders are encourages to email Athletic Director David Sharp at sharpd@obu.edu or call 870-245-5182.

The seats will be released for public sale after Friday. Current Ouachita students will receive compliment­ary admission by showing their student identifica­tion at the gate on game day.

Premium reserved tickets are $20 each, bench reserved tickets are $15 and general admission is $8. Tickets for students in school up through 12th grade are $5 each and will only be available for purchase on game day.

Advance purchase tickets for bench reserved seats with no chair back and general admission are available online. The tickets will be available on game day at the will call window.

Premium reserved tickets will not be available for online purchase. Arkansas Activities Associatio­n passes will not be honored as the game is an NCAA event.

Stadium lot parking passes will be honored for the playoff game.

Only eight teams remain in the Division II playoffs, including all four No. 1 regional seeds in the quarterfin­als.

The top seed in Super Region 1, Notre Dame College (12-0), will host seventh seed Slippery Rock (11-2) on Saturday in South Euclid, Ohio. The Super Region 2 final will see No. 1 seed Valdosta State (11-0) host third seed Lenoir-Rhyne (12-1) in Georgia. The Super Region 4 final features second-seeded Tarleton State (12-0) at top-seeded Minnesota-Mankato (12-0).
