HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Elizabeth Anne Moe, 87, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away on Feb. 11, 2019.

She was born in Grand Cane, La., on July 23, 1931, to Edward and Leila Mae (James) Griffith and met her husband of 50-plus years, George O. Moe, while working at Texas Eastern Transmissi­on Corp. They were married on July 19, 1968.

She is survived by her husband, George; her son, Gary Burnham; and seven stepchildr­en; Beth, George, Bill, Pat, Robert, Ben and Richard Moe; and 14 grandchild­ren.

She lived an active service life as past VP of the Women’s Republican Club; founder and past president of HSV Women’s Aglow and as a volunteer at Potter’s Clay. However, her heart was mostly in her 12-plus years as a counselor at Change Point in Hot Springs.

She was a member of Balboa Baptist Church, who loved the Lord and was a devoted Bible scholar.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, with visitation at 1 p.m., followed by the service at 2 p.m. at Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Spring Village with Dr. Denny Wright officiatin­g.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Change Point of Hot Springs or Balboa Baptist Church building fund.

Arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to CedarVale Funeral Home of Hot Springs Village, Ark.
