Citizens Bank stepping into the future

-

Major investments in new facilities make a bold statement about a business’ commitment to the future. In that case, Citizens Bank should be shouting from the rooftops.

Citizens Bank is about to open a bright, modern, state-of-the-art facility in Hot Springs and is already planning yet another new branch at Malvern Avenue and Carpenter Dam Road. Citizens Bank also just unveiled a beautiful new headquarters financial center in Batesville.

“Here we grow again!” proclaimed David Wooldridge, president of the bank’s South Central Market, based in Hot Springs. “Citizens Bank is proud to have become this area’s favorite hometown bank. Every day, we are committed to making good on our promise to provide great community banking for great communities.”

While Citizens Bank completes construction of its new financial center at 1698 Higdon Ferry Road in Hot Springs, it will also soon announce its plans to expand east to the corner of Malvern Avenue

and Carpenter Dam Road.

“We are very excited about our future in this region of the state,” Wooldridge said. “We hope everyone will stop by soon for a tour of our new high-tech banking facility on Higdon Ferry Road. We can’t wait to show it off — and to discuss what we can do to address your financial needs.”

Citizens Bank is an $860 million financial services organization serving the state of Arkansas. Its commitment to local markets is the motivation that has led Citizens Bank to make major investments in cities like Hot Springs. In fact, that dedication was acknowledged in 2018, when Citizens Bank was named by the American Bankers Association as the best bank in the United States for Community and Economic Development.

“Our strategy is to expand within current markets and into additional markets as that growth makes sense,” said Phil Baldwin, chief executive officer. “Strong, stable relationships with our customers and with the communities we serve have earned Citizens Bank a reputation as a trusted financial partner. And that is a formula for strong, stable growth.”

“With a talented team of local professionals at all of our locations, we have connected with the banking needs of consumers, professionals and commercial entities across this region,” Wooldridge said. “We know that you can bank anywhere, but you really should bank locally with people you know. Our staff can relate personally to the financial challenges and desires of the customers who come to us for advice or assistance every day.”

For 65 years, Citizens Bank’s operations have been built on a business philosophy of focusing intently on customer service and truly operating as a community bank — a local financial institution that knows and cares about its customers, understands the local business climate, and is deeply involved in and sincerely committed to the communities it serves.

“Citizens Bank has specifically decided to operate in South Central Arkansas because there are so many vibrant, progressive markets here that can benefit from our hometown banking philosophy,” Baldwin said. “We look forward to continuing to serve the financial needs of even more customers in this important area of the state.”
