South Hot Springs Lions will meet at 5:30 p.m. today for dinner in CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs cafeteria, 1 Mercy Lane. The meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m. Visiting Lions are welcome.
Hot Springs National Park Rotary will meet at noon Wednesday at Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, Central and Fountain streets, for lunch. A meeting will follow at 12:30 p.m. Visiting Rotarians are welcome.

Women’s Chamber of Commerce will serve dinner today at 6:30 p.m. at the Samaritan Ministries of Hot Springs Men’s Shelter, 131 Sanford St.
Homemakers donate fidget quilts
Lakeside Extension Homemakers Club recently donated 18 fidget lap quilts to The Caring Place.
The quilts were designed and made by the club’s members to reduce boredom and increase attention span for people with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Each quilt is different, but all were designed with pockets and zippers and buttons to keep hands and minds busy.
