EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. — Patricia Jean Corley, age

60, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at her home.

She was born on May

21, 1959, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Leonard Griffin and Kathleen Bauer Griffin. On February 10, 1995, she married Roy Corley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Scott; her parents; one brother, Jimmy Bauer; and two nephews, Dean Wesley Keen and Brent Hulsey.

Patricia attended Cutter Morning Star School. She loved cooking, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Corley of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; two sons, Bradley Scott of Hot Springs and Todd Corley of Malvern; one daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Chad Handley of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; six grandchildren, Kathleen Scott, Haley Scott, Caden Handley, Corbin Handley, Avery Handley and Allison Corley; her brother and sister-in-law, David and Teresa Griffin of Hot Springs; her sister and brother-in-law, Polly and Rickey Asbury of Lonsdale; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Pastor Randy Donahue officiating.

Interment will be in Rock Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday.

Pallbearers will be Josh Asbury, Benjamin Griffin, Terry Bates, Scott Hulsey, Steven Bellomy and Scotty Welland.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Asbury, Steve Handley and Brenda and Terry Scholdberg.

Memorials in Patricia’s name may be to a charity of one’s choice.
