Cpl. Jon Lane was dispatched to the residence regarding a domestic disturbance in progress and made contact with the girlfriend, 29, and her son.

The girlfriend, who is three months pregnant by her live-in boyfriend, identified as Green, told Lane she and Green began to argue when he was trying to take food from the family’s cabinet, resulting in Green head-butting her.

She said she yelled at her son to call police and Green ran after the boy, dragging her across the room with him. Green then allegedly took the woman’s phone and knocked the son to the floor, refusing to give the phone back.

Lane noted the woman had a large bump forming on her head and was complaining of pain in her side and head. The son also reportedly told Lane Green had hit him when Green took the phone.

The report states that due to the victims’ statements, the physical injuries to the woman Lane observed and the fact Green reportedly knew she was pregnant, Green was charged with the two counts of battery.

The son’s phone was reportedly found in Green’s pocket when he was arrested.
