Mary Elizabeth Price Shaw, 88, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully Oct. 7, 2019. She was born on Jan. 13, 1931 to Stella and Frank King in Keevil, Ark. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde Price (1992) and their son David Price, grandson Daniel Detwiler, brother, John King, and second husband, Hugh Shaw.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Paula Spring & husband Phil (Texarkana) and Diane Alana (Hot Springs,) four grandchild­ren, Melissa Redfearn & husband James (Texarkana), Rebecca Moore (Spokane, Wash.), April Duewall (Hot Springs), David Price Jr. (Winter Park, Fla.) and two great grandchild­ren Amy Redfearn (Texarkana) and Brady Annan (Winter Park, Fla.) and cousins and friends.

Married at a young age, a photograph­ic memory and quick sense of humor aided Mary as she followed her husband, Clyde, all over America. The family moved over 50 times with his NASA job before retiring to Hot Springs, over 40 years ago.

A talented musician that loved her family, flowers, reading, the arts, and water sports, Mary was a beautiful Christian woman. She attended Westminste­r Presbyteri­an Church with husband Hugh and regularly attended First Baptist Church Hot Springs until she could no longer travel. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebratio­n of Mary’s life will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at East Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Texarkana.
