Reverend James (Jim) Comer Born: Dec. 2, 1950, in Fayette, Mo.

With Jesus: Nov. 18, 2019 Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Eugene Comer, Ruby Marie Comer and his brother, Larry Lee Comer.

Survived by his wife, Susan Comer, of 50 years, his son, Jason and wife Stephanie Comer, and his daughter, Jami Comer. Siblings: Ruby Perrill, Tim and Joanne Comer and Terry and Dana Comer, nine grandchild­ren and four great-grandchild­ren.

Beginning in 1977, Jim and family served 42 years as Assemblies of God missionari­es by the Arkansas Assemblies of God Churches. His life impacted countless people in Africa, Europe and Native America with the message of God’s love. When on furlough and not traveling, he and his wife Sue made Legacy Church, Hot Springs, their home.

His family, like so many others, are grateful to have been rewarded by his presence. Now, as he has no more sufferings of life and is surrounded by the most profound love, we do not mourn his passing but honor his memories as he honored us with his life. He will be sorely missed.

Memorial will be at Legacy Church, 3540 Central Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71913, at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2019.
