Ozebie White, age 82, of Hot Springs, passed on Monday, April 13, 2020.

She was born in the Whelen Springs Community (Gurdon, Ark.) to Walker Lee, and Ila Wyrick Reynolds Sr. They preceded her in death, as well as her son, Victor Booker; four grandchild­ren, Telecia Booker, Leo Hendrix Jr., Porsche Hendrix and Shawnee Booker; her siblings, Smeed, Lean, James, Alodis and Walker Lee Reynolds Jr., Mildred Mitchell; and a nephew raised as a brother, Bobby Joe Gulley.

Ozebie attended Whelen Springs High School. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas Baptist Church. She exhibited her faith by serving as an usher, Pastoral Care Ministry and wherever her services were needed. She was not afraid of hard word. Her work career included Hot Springs Housing Authority, James Dairy Bar, Hill Wheatley Hotel and The W.C. Brown Family. She was a very active part of the Entre Nous Social Club.

Her memories will always be shared by her husband, Joe White; her daughters, Diane Booker, Joyce Taylor, Alnetia Walters and Azelyn (Anthony) Lewis; her siblings, Doris (Calvin) Davis, Dutchelee Reynolds and Walter Reynolds; 12 grandchild­ren whom loving called her “Mom,” 28 great-grandchild­ren; a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2020, in Whelen Springs Cemetery. A walk-through visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
