Kudos to everyone on the ‘front lines’

- M.J. Sherer Aging Answers

Under normal circumstances, holidays can be stressful … add on the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing and quarantining and WOW! I hope first and foremost that everybody reading this column is staying safe and being cautious through these trying times for all of us.

We are all in this together and together we will get through it … I am so proud of all the caregivers out there who have stayed in the homes of their clients throughout this whole ordeal. Some people don’t have families and the caregivers are all they have so KUDOS to all of them along with all the RNs, doctors, EMTs, firefighters, grocery stores and the people who are so bravely still disinfecting areas for all of these frontliners to still be able to take care of any of the infected people. Kudos to those volunteers who are doing everything possible to help each other get through this. … There is so much to be thankful for and we all need to count our blessings and I pray that everybody gets through this with a different perspective on what is really important in this life. …

We are still doing our part providing caregivers to people who need them in their homes to help with the everyday madness … we can help do paperwork over the pho ne and through email and always answer any questions you may have about the process. …

I know it was a different holiday this year but I sure hope that everybody had a Happy Easter and remembered what Easter was really all about. …

As my mother always said to me in difficult times, “This too shall pass.”

God bless and stay safe!
