Alice Collins Brawner, 94, of Hot Springs, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 18, 2020, in New Orleans, La. She was born on Oct. 12,

1925, to the late Virgil and Etta Geurin Collins in Bridgeport, Ala. She was an active member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. She was past chairman of the board at First Christian Church where she served as an Elder and was a member of their choir. She retired from Southweste­rn Bell Telephone Company where she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and was a life member of Communicat­ions Workers of America.

She was predecease­d by her parents; her husband, Weldon Brawner; one daughter, Nancy Brawner Jones; one brother, Virgil Collins; and one sister, Marty Brown.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Kerry Brawner, of Norco, La.; four grandchild­ren, Amanda Brawner Reed (Michael), Rebecca Brawner Deibel (Jeremy), Ruby Brawner and Geurin Brawner-Jones; two great-grandchild­ren, Michael and Christian Reed; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home.

Visitation will follow CDC requiremen­ts of limiting to 50 people, and face masks are required.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Doctor Nadine Burton and the Rev. Don Hubbard officiatin­g.

Memorials have been designated to First Christian Church,

1806 Central Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901.

Arrangemen­ts are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
