Jessie Pearl Blocker, 91, of Hot Springs, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. She was born September 29, 1928, in Hughes, Ark. to the late Richard and Anna Stachey Humphreys.

She was predecease­d by her parents; husband, Wras Blocker; son, Douglas Blocker; sister, Anita Waggoner; and brothers, Ralph Humphreys, Leo Humphreys, Richard Humphreys, Billy Max Humphreys, Mervin Humphreys and Rudolph Humphreys.

Survivors include her daughters, Jean Blocker and Stacie Blocker (Mike) Love; grandchild­ren, Andrew (Ana) Love and Sebastian Love; special friend/ caregiver, Vicky Love; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Christine Lai, Dr. Oyidie Igbokidi, Dr. Harneet Pahwa, the employees and staff of CHI St. Vincent, Encompass Rehab, Lake Hamilton Rehab, and Arkansas Hospice.

Services will be held at noon Tuesday, June 30th, at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Beyer officiatin­g.

Burial to follow at Reed Cemetery in Story, Ark.

Pallbearer­s are De’Andre Dawson, Darrell Ellis, Kevin Hoffman, Bo Snider, Joey Swindle, McCoy Vereen and Ricky Waggoner.

Honorary pallbearer­s include Annette Hoffman, Shundolyn Jetton, Vicky Love and Tommie Rico.

Visitation will be noon to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
