BISMARCK — Rose Lambert Prince, age 81, of Bismarck, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2020, with her daughter, Lana, at her side.

Rose was born Feb. 22, 1939, in Gum Springs, Ark., to Claude William and Eva Ellis Bradshaw. Rose had a long 36-year career as a thirdgrade schoolteac­her at Bismarck Elementary School. Rose was passionate about her students and was loved by so many. Teaching was her life and love. Rose lived an active and full life enjoying family time, traveling and dancing.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Lana Lambert, of Bismarck; brother, Billy Bradshaw, of Magnolia; sisters, Mildred Whitson, husband, Edward, of Curtis, Joan Wetheringt­on, of Arkadelphi­a, Mary Hollingshe­ad, of Amity; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Dockery, of Hot Springs, and Floela Kashner, of Greenwood; brother-in-law, Gerald Lambert, wife Fern, of Amity; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Lambert, parents, and siblings, Thomas Bradshaw, Doyle Bradshaw, Claudie Ware and Dorothy Norman.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Laurie Holliman, Natasha Nichols, Donna Martin and Lessie Anzalda. These amazing caregivers allowed Rose to stay home throughout her long battle with Alzheimer’s. We would also like to recognize Dr. Fred Divers of Genesis Cancer Center, Dr. Jeffrey Bordelon and Melissa Mehalic of Hospice Home Care and their staff.

Visitation was held 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 6, at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphi­a.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today, July 7, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, near Amity.
