Life is filled with choices, opportunities and decisions. Sometimes we are proud and sometimes we have regrets. Donnie was very proud of all those “Gower Boys.” He loved his family and we love him. In his life, he was a Golden Gloves boxer, a musician, a carpenter and an avid hunter. Dad had struggles in his life, we, his family, knew well. We also know he loved God and we thank God for His mercy and Grace through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through Christ we all have hope.

May we leave you with some wisdom from God’s Word, Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 — “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter, Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all, for God will bring every work into judgment. Including every secret thing whether Good or Evil.”

Donnie would want you to consider your life, love God, love your family and live a good life. He also proudly donated his remains to Genesis Legacy foundation for science research so that it would help someone else. Because of this, there will be a private memorial service.

Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
