Robert “Bobby” Allen Clark, age 73, passed away on July 28, 2020, in Hot Springs, Ark. He was the husband of Sherry Harper Clark. They would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversar­y on Sept. 2 of this year.

Born in Minneapoli­s, Minn., he was the son of Aleda Groustra

Clark and Russell Allen Clark. He graduated from W.H. Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas. He received the Purple Heart award after his service in the Vietnam War. He retired in 2010 from Simplex-Grinnell, where had worked for 21 years.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, riding his Harley and traveling the country in his RV. He will be remembered for his love of bass and crappie fishing. He spent most of his retirement out on the water of Lake Hamilton with a rod and reel in his hands.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry; his sister, Marilyn Cook; his children, Dallis Clark and his wife, Lindsey, Lisa Lemons and her husband, James, Christy Clark Roberts and Rick Clark and his wife, Holly; grandchild­ren, Parker and Emmett Clark, Jaymie and Jaycee Lemons and Kali and Brittany Woods, Cody, Justin and Taylor Clark; and six great grandchild­ren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, John Cook; his son, Jimmy Clark; his son-in-law, Troy Roberts; and his grandson, Preston Clark.

A graveside service will be held at 11: a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, La., under the direction of Kilpatrick RoseNeath Funeral Home.
