Sam L. Anderson Jr.

Sam L. Anderson Jr., 64, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, peacefully at home with his loving wife and children by his side.

He received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and practiced law in Hot Springs with his father, Sam L. Anderson Sr. Later in life, he loved to collect antique cars. Sam was larger than life with an even larger heart. He was a doting husband, devoted father, loyal friend and yellow dog Democrat who could not wait to cast his vote for Joe Biden. He enjoyed listening to blues music, sharing cocktails with friends and family, and could often be found hosting pool parties and causing an all-around ruckus. With a booming voice and mischievous smile, you never had to worry about where Sam was or what he was thinking. He loved animals and will be greatly missed by his companions, Maddie Blue and Ella.

He is predeceased by his parents, Sam L. Anderson Sr. and Jeanne Anderson of Hot Springs.

Lovell Jr., Jon-Michael Lewis, David Lewis and Matthew Lewis; goddaughter, Jena Petro; and countless friends from every walk of life.
