Janet J.F. Fernandez
Janet Janice Fernandez (Freeman), age 60, of Sheridan, Ark., passed away on Dec. 19, 2020, in Hot Springs.
Janet is preceded in death by her aunt, Wanda Mckinney, her mother, Helen Freeman, her father, Carl Freeman, her brother, Shawn Freeman, and her brother, Donald Freeman.
Janet was born in Sheridan to Helen and Carl Freeman on Dec. 4, 1960, and was raised by her Aunt Wanda Mckinney from a very young age.
Janet is survived by her children, Shane and Penny Freeman, John Rickey Jr. and Brittney Stringer, Chelby P. Fernandez and Nicholas M. Freeman. The loves of her life, her grandchildren: Jose Luis Fernandez-Britain, Ju’Leon Page Fernandez-Britain, Dilly’yn Lee Fernandez-Britain, Bryonca Stringer, Jerry Nathaniel Stringer, John Rickey Stringer III, Baleigh Miller, Spencer Freeman, Shane Freeman Jr. and Sarah Freeman. Her sister, Bonnie Gregory, and brother, Opie Freeman. Many nieces and nephews.
A very special friend, Rolland Hood, that was always there for her in her time of need, when she had no one else.
Janet died alone in her home, with her doggie daughter Khloe.
The thing she wanted most in life was to have her family all together, happy and healthy.
Mother, you will be missed more than you will ever know. I will think about you every day for the rest of my life. Fly high mother, I am positive you are enjoying being with your family in heaven. I will see you again when it is time. Love — Nicholas
Memorial service will be held from 2-3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services.
