Mary “Liz” Scarbrough, 87, of Hot Springs, passed away Dec. 25, 2020.

She was born Dec. 11, 1933, in Elgin, Ark., to James H. and Alpha (Brixie) Biggers.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Scarbrough (Diane) of Charlotte; one daughter, Joann Scarbrough Davidson (Jamie) of Hot Springs; one sister, Louella Leslie of Hot Springs; two grandchild­ren, Justin Lynn Scarbrough (Katie) of Manana, Bahrain and Misty Dawn Colvey (Josh) of Jonesboro; two stepgrandc­hildren, Chris Davidson (Cory) of Bentonvill­e and Cord Davidson (Dana) of Batesville; two stepgreat-grandsons, Grady Yates and Archer Benjamin Davidson; three stepgreat-granddaugh­ters, Tori Davidson, Josie Davidson and Chloe Davidson, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judy Ann Scarbrough; three brothers, Walter, Richard Sylvester and James Biggers Jr.; one sister, Ruth Biggers, and two half brothers, Johnny Biggers and William Greathouse.

Pallbearer­s are Doug Garth, Steve Hampton, Josh Colvey, James Milum, Gary Hodge and Paul Duncan. Honorary pallbearer­s are her nieces and nephews, her favorite nurse, Dee Robinson, Chris Davidson, Grady Davidson, Archer Davidson and Cord Davidson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at the Roller-Crouch chapel in Batesville with Bill Allen officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation­s will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering and social distancing will be observed.
