Dee S. Ordinachev

Dee (Sikes) Ordinachev, 89, of Hot Springs, was born Jan. 5,

1931, in Oran, Mo., to James and Gladys Sikes.

She grew up in St. Louis, Mo., and married Ray Ordinachev in 1947. They lived in several upper Midwest cities after leaving St. Louis. She was active in her own business for

30 years in Sioux Falls, S.D. She was also very active in her husband’s Shrine activities. They retired to Hot Springs, Ark., in

1996. Ray Ordinachev passed in May of 2014.

Dee was an active member and past president of the Women’s Welcome Club, president of HSCC Social Club, past member of Daughters of the Nile and a member of Westminste­r Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane and Richard Efthimiou and their daughter, Moriah Curran in Las Vegas, Nev.; her son, Mark Ordinachev, a resident of Hot Springs, Ark., her son, Dirk Ordinachev, a resident of Golden Valley, Ariz., and his son, Chris Ordinachev of Denver, Colo. Other surviving family members include her brother, Jim and his wife, Doris Sikes of Fenton, Mo.; sister in- law, JoAnn Sikes of St. Louis, Mo.; and her brother-inlaw, Delmar Ordinachev of Sun City, Fla.

She was especially fond of her dog, Victor. Dee had many wonderful friends, including Wade White, who shared her love of dancing and was a dear friend to her for many years.

A private service for the family only will be held at the Memorial Garden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Dee requested memorials be made to any Shriners Children’s Hospital.
