AARP has canceled all sponsored in- person events and activities through the end of 2020, which include AARP Driver Safety events, to minimize COVID-19 exposure among AARP members and its communitie­s, according to Judith Zitko, district coordinato­r, Hot Springs Village Driver Safety.

The Literacy Council of Garland County offers free, confidenti­al tutoring to adults in basic reading, math or digital literacy. English as a second language tutoring is also available.
