Lacking sense

Dear editor:

Re: “Return to Democracy,” March 21. “Inane” — empty, vacant, lacking sense, foolish, silly — those are some of the definitions for the word, from my dog-eared, backless, first 10 pages missing Webster’s brought with us from Ohio in 1965. Way too mild to describe liberals who think that pretending all last year they didn’t tell our brave cops to get up and put their uniform on and go stand on the street and watch punks breaking laws and do nothing, fooled us.

A Democracy is where half of the people are canceled? Not allowed to speak? If my ninth-grade perception is serving me correctly, I believe Mr. Crawford just about called President Trump “Hitler.” My brilliant granddaughter would remind him “they don’t ‘cancel’ dictators!” Trump brought Christians to the White House!

Attacking “the people’s” businesses and attacking “the people’s” house are both wrong. Only “the people’s” house got the Democrats’ attention. Billions of dollars damage and loss for “the people.” Completely ignored! Mr. Crawford finds more fault with the “required memorized prayer” and “teaching the Bible from only one point of view” than cities burning, punks dumping water on cops and stomping on our flag. (At least I haven’t heard any concern from him.) The first Christian I’ve heard compliant with

the removal of prayer in schools!

Every Christian knows that the most important thing our children and youth need is to know Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all our woes. A defense against those seeking to teach our kids ungodly practices. (Read Leviticus 18 — “weirdos” are doing all this and more!) Messing with children’s innocence!

Did Mr. Crawford admonish Mr. Bauer to do more silent prayer? (“Not necessarily a bad word,” letter) Yeah, let’s ban loud prayers! We know that Mr. Crawford has five degrees and a stellar teaching career. How do we know? He told us! (Inane, but not denied) interesting.

I’ll close with this — Republicans have “RINOs” — “Republican In Name Only” (and we want to get rid of them). Democrats have a “PINO” — “President In Name Only! PINO Joe.
