HOPE — Mrs. Rosetta Hogue, age 88, of Hope, Ark., passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021, at home.

Rosetta was born in Chester, Ark., on Sept. 9, 1932, to Rufus and Tonie Allen Poor. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Hope Lions Club. She was co-owner of Hogue’s Exxon, which herself and husband Richard operated for 5o years in Hope. She was an avid Razorback fan, attending many games alongside family and friends. She was very active in Hope, along with Richard, donating countless hours to the several charitable organizati­ons that meant a lot to them in the community and various parts of the state. She spent her life working and taking care of her husband, children and especially the grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. She was truly a member of The Great Generation. She enjoyed her time with family, race horses and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, Richard Hogue; son, Ricky Hogue; brothers, Bill Poor, Roy Allen, Frances Poor; and sisters, Pearl Turner, Bertha Hooten and Nevada Poor.

Survivors include: daughter, Susan Fackler and husband T.J.; six grandchild­ren, Sabrina Griffin, Teresa Butler, Tim Fackler (Jordan), Laura Hunter (Dustin), Michael Hogue (Kelly) and Matthew Hogue (Tori); 11 great-grandchild­ren, and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. today, March 30, 2021, at Brazzel/Oakcrest, 1001 S. Main St., Hope, AR 71801.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today, March 30, 2021, at Brazzel/Oakcrest with Brother Daniel Bramlett officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
