Harbor House opens addiction treatment center in Hot Springs
Harbor House Inc. is expanding addiction services in Hot Springs by opening a 66-bed inpatient residential substance abuse treatment center, the agency said in a news release.
Harbor House Inc. is a “nationally accredited behavioral health agency headquartered in Fort Smith which has provided residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment to the citizens of Arkansas for over 50 years.”
“Harbor House first expanded operations to Hot Springs in 2017 with an outpatient clinic providing reentry services to Garland County’s Arkansas Community of Corrections,” the release said.
The new Harbor House Hot Springs is located at 812 Mountain Pine Road. Operations will include residential substance abuse treatment, an observational detox unit, and Specialized Women’s Services.
SWS is a program that expands residential treatment to meet the needs of pregnant women, women with children younger than 6 years old, or women with children in the custody of the Division of Children and Family Services of the Arkansas Department of Human Services. Grants will be provided for those that meet eligibility.

HHI currently operates two residential treatment facilities in Fort Smith and has 14 sites across the state providing reentry rehabilitative services, diversion sentencing, and mental health counseling.
