Sam’s Club becomes gold sponsor of AMVHOF
Sam’s Club of Hot Springs recently became a Gold Sponsor of the Arkansas Military Veterans Hall of Fame.
On Friday, Sam’s Club presented its contribution supporting the veterans’ organization to Dwight Witcher, AMVHOF chairman of the board.
The donation, along with other donations, will allow the AMVHOF to pursue its mission objective which is to publicly emphasize the honor brought to our state and nation by the sacrifice of Arkansas military veterans and their families, a news release said.
“The primary purpose for which the AMVHOF has been organized are exclusively to honor Arkansas military veterans and to educate fellow Arkansans of their outstanding accomplishments made to their service, their country, and their state,” it said.
On Nov. 6, 14 inductees of the Classes of 2020 and 2021 will be inducted into the AMVHOF and awarded the “Hall of Fame Medallion” recognizing their military service to our nation and to the State of Arkansas during the annual banquet.
The induction ceremony will be conducted at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock with the opening ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m.
Seats at the banquet can be purchased online at http://www.amvhof.org. Individual seating is $70 and reserve tables of 10 seats are available for $700.
