Ethel Eunice Godbold, 59, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on Oct. 4, 2021, in Hot Springs, Ark.

Ethel was born on Perry Street, Hot Springs, Ark., to Occie Block, Rowena Godbold on March 5, 1962.

Ethel is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Vivian Lockridge, Calvin Godbold and Debbie Godbold.

She went to school at Hot Springs, finished the 11th. She went and enlisted in the Army Coast Guard. She was rewarded for the Soul Stars bikers club and rewarded for games at a local bingo hall. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys football team and fishing. She also worked in the dietary for three years at Pines Nursing Home.

Ethel is survived by her spouse, Jimmy Howell; daughter, Jakala Godbold; sister, Valerie; brothers, Carl Godbold, Aubri Godbold, Ale Godbold; as well as her unborn grandbaby. Nieces, Letonia Torrence, Demetrius Jackson, Kashay Hargrove, Chinu Lee Lockridge, Porsha Johnson, Erica Johnson, Aubrianna Johnson, Shinell Godbold, Harmonee Mcurin, Jaylen Hargrove, Aniyla Fortune, Journey Pouncil, Montoya Jones, Jordae Lockridge, Reagan Riley, Makayla Riley, Za’kyaih Riley, Kabrianna Kidd, Zoe Lockridge, Nori Riley, Arriea Leeper, Doretha Johnson, Keisha Counts, Sheila Brown, Brianna Brown, Kiandra Brown, Rene Howell, Leshaunda Howell, Mariah Marshall, Shawntay Marshall, Portia Blackmon, and Gabriel Faulkner. Nephews, Riley Lockridge, Riley Lockridge Jr., Eric Porter, Brandon Jones, Markus Torrence, Tyrone Godbold, Dyrone Godbold, Denim Counts, Keisha Counts, Quan Counts, Tyheaven Godbold, Tyrone Godbold Jr., Marquise Godbold, Marquise Godbold Jr., Dshane Godbold, Jack Riley, Noah Riley, Bentley Riley, Nate Riley, Keshawn Blevins, Makiyah Collins, Quincy Godbold, Eddie Lockridge, Eddie Lockridge III, Martez Torrence, Martez Jr., Martae Torrence, Anthonio Riley, Anthony, Anthony Jr., Timothy Howell, Ricky Lawson Jr., Jamarkus Brown, Jaquese Walker, Joshua Howell. Funeral visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021; the service will be at noon, 401 Lacey St., Greater Ebenezer Church, Pastor William Watkins Officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
