Mark S. Williams

-

Mark Stanley “Dude” Williams left this world on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, to convert God and Heaven to Linux OS. He was 49 years old.

Mark was born on Dec. 14, 1971, in Missouri. He loved the Lord and grew up an avid sportsman, spending most summers at Clearwater Lake. He shared his love for skiing, boating, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors with anyone he could. The only thing he enjoyed more was spending time with the love of his life, Heather Lee Williams. Mark and Heather were high school sweethearts and grew to be a shining example of love and perseverance.

During their time together they shared many wonderful adventures, but he was proudest of their adventures with their children and grandchildren. Informed early on that he could never have kids, he defied the odds and had four in true Mark fashion. He was blessed with two daughters; Devin Miller and Danielle Cantrell, and two sons; Bradley Williams and Ryan Williams. While he only had four children of his own, Mark was a father figure to so many others and always loved to see those around him achieve and grow. He loved his family fiercely and cherished every addition.

Mark is survived by his parents, David and Sharon Williams, and his brother, David (Loretta) Williams. He is also survived by his wife, Heather. Among those who carry on his legacy are his children and grandchildren: Devin and Jake Miller, their children Greyson, Owen, and Nora Kate, Bradley and Jessica Williams and their daughter Hannah Louise, Danielle and Larry Cantrell, and their children Corbin and Lauren, and Ryan and Monica Williams. There are numerous others blessed by his love; including aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mark’s family would like to convey their deepest gratitude to Sadie Tittle, the responding EMS and Medflight teams, the UAMS Trauma Team, and the UAMS H4 ICU staff. Specifically, they would like to thank Adam Thannisch, RN, and Joe Margolick, MD for the kindness, understanding, and care they provided to Mark and his family .

A celebration of his life will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10, in Room 209. In lieu of flowers, donations to his widow to help take his remains to his final resting place at Clearwater Lake are appreciated. thewebdr has left the chat. KE5SHQ 10-4, over and out.
