Larry Wayne Rush, 76, of Hot Springs Ark., passed away on Oct. 5, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Rush; father, J.C. Rush; brothers, Bob, Jack, Lee Roy; and sister, Betty Joe.

Larry was born in Wagoner, Okla., to Helen and J.C. Rush on July 30, 1945. He went to high school in Stillwater, Okla., and attended Langston University for two years. On May 22, 1970, he married Frances (Morrow) Rush in Stillwater, Okla. Larry was a veteran who served in the Army National Guard as an Army engineer from 1963 to 1969. Throughout his life, he worked as a carpenter in Stillwater and other surroundin­g areas.

Larry was known for his outstandin­g ability to repair just about anything, from cars to refrigerat­ors. During the 1990s, Larry built a house from the ground up outside Stillwater that he and Frances would live in for many years before moving to Hot Springs, Ark. More than anything, Larry loved his wife of 51 years along with all of his children, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. Larry was an avid reader, as well as a horse and dog lover. At any time, Larry could be found tinkering around the house.

Larry is survived by wife, Frances Rush; daughters, Juletta (Harvey) Showalter, Kay (Jimmy) Romero, Lonetta (Mark) Kimmell; sons, Allen Swartwood, Larry Rush and Jay (Toni) Rush; 21 grandchild­ren and 21 great-grandchild­ren.

A memorial service will be held at Carrigan Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021.

Linda L. Moore Winters, age 76, was called home to be with our Lord Jesus on Oct. 4, 2021.

Linda was born March 23, 1945, in Little Rock, Ark. She was a wife, sister, mom, granny and great-grandma. She loved animals, especially dogs, music, word searches and butterflie­s. She was very strong willed and wasn’t doing anything unless she wanted to. She loved her family and she loved the Lord.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, J.P. Moore and Margie Lee Hammack Moore; husband, Mark; two brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Dunnavant (Anthony); granddaugh­ter, Kysha Fusilier (Hayden); grandson, Andrew Dunnavant (Brittnee); great-grandson, Logan; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dierksen Hospice and Canyon Springs for taking good care of her.
