The Photo Finishers offers gift ideas

-

When searching for that perfect gift that is unique, personal and emotional, visit The Photo Finishers’ complete imaging center before Christmas.

“Christmas 2021 seems to by all accounts (at least in unscientifically compiled conversations had with friends, co-workers and family members) the year just about everyone is stumped to find the perfect gift,” Waco Hill, owner, said in a news release “It feels almost like a cultural COVID haze fogging our collective consciousness and obscuring the amazing gift giving ideas that have always been there in the past. No one wants to give those they care about a so-so gift that has no emotional significance or cool factor, and that ends up in a drawer, a closet or worse yet, the waste bin.”

With these struggles in mind, Hill suggests a visit to The Photo Finishers on Albert Pike. It’s a photo and video “one-stop-shop that can do just about anything with digital and analog media. From traditional holiday gifts such as custom photo ornaments, photo snow globes, cameras, lenses, accessories and frames, they also offer quite the array of custom photo, video and audio services.”

“We offer a tremendous about of services that allow us to take virtually any media and create a custom gift that anyone would be thrilled to receive,” Hill said.

“For example, everyone loves family photographs, but oftentimes anymore they are stuck on a device and never seen. We have one client that tells me he has always given gift cards in the past, but this year wanted something more personal, so we are creating custom prints and framing them for gifts this year. It’s just a great idea. Beyond traditional processing and printing, we offer custom video services to transfer your family’s old VHS tapes to DVD, old audiotapes to CD and can take video and photos from your phone or camera and create a custom video presentation which everyone love. In addition, we have an on-site studio and we can do a traditional session with babies and families, and we are going to have Santa for a few days available for the little ones to visit and have photo packages with,” Hill said.

Those are just a few of the products and services created right on-site at The Photo Finishers. It even has film and film cameras. It seems film is gaining some popularity with the younger generation — the store actually ran out of film for the first time in 25 years.

“That never happened before, ever. I’ve been trying to get stock since the summer months and we actually ran out for about a week. Kodak and Fuji are telling me they can’t keep up; luckily we were able to restock quite a bit, and there is more on the way just in time for stocking stuffing,” Hill said.

“If you are having trouble deciding what to gift this Christmas, visit the website, check them out on Facebook, or better yet just give them a call, they are happy to help you make Christmas bright,” the release said.
