Mark A. Rash
Mark Alan Rash, 59, of Lonsdale, Ark., passed away Dec.18, 2021. He was born Jan. 22, 1962, in Hot Springs, to Cecil and Joyce (Schwartz) Rash.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Rash.
Survivors include his loving wife of two and a half years, Rhonda Rash; mother, Joyce Billsland (Dave); daughters, Mandy Lee and Ashley Blockburger (Jacob); brothers, Tim Rash (Karen), Roddy Rash (Denise), Kevin Rash (Terah) and Jeff Rash (Dana); sisters, Rhonda Parker (Ron), Karen Robinson (Stan) and Cheryl Ward (Roger); grandchildren, Taylor, Easton, Mallen, Bug, Kinsley, Karsyn, Violet and Pearl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark was a devoted husband, father, brother, papa, uncle, Lifenet paramedic, school board member, and Cowboys/ Hog fan. He was awarded a certificate by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians for 30 years of service. He was recognized for 20 years of dedication to the Cutter Morning Star School Board. He also received the Dr. Daniel L. Pilkinton Award for Outstanding Service to Public Education. Mark enjoyed playing music, working on cars, and spending time in nature hunting. Mark had an infectious smile, a servant’s heart and an unconditional love for others that he graciously shared with the world. Those that know Mark will remember him as a fearless, bold leader that exhibited divine wisdom and a warm, endearing presence that will live on forever.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Caruth Village Funeral Home.
Burial will immediately follow in Green Cemetery in Jessieville. Family and friends will gather at 103 Goodeaux Road in Lonsdale, Ark., 72087, for food and fellowship, beers, bonfire, and music after the burial.
