Katrina J. Leamons

MOUNTAIN PINE — Katrina Joyce Leamons, age 69, of Mountain Pine, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Dec. 24, 2021.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1952, in Hot Springs. Katrina was the daughter of John Wesley Keener and Mavis Anita (Mayberry) Keener.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Brenda Sue (Horn) Breshears; and her brother, Danny Lee Horn.

Katrina loved her family. She was the greatest wife, momma and Naw-Naw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her church family, where she taught Sunday school for many years and impacted many young ladies’ lives.

Katrina loved basketball, pigs and elephants! She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Katrina is survived by her teenage sweetheart, Buddy Leamons; daughter, Tammy Leamons Hatley (Gerald); brother, Billy Keener (Patty); grandson, Vince Hatley (Mary); granddaughter, Olivia Hatley; granddaughter, Emily Maughan (Matt); great-granddaughters, Kynsi Hatley, Jenna Hatley, Mylah Estell-Hatley, Harper Hatley; great-grandson, Tyree Hatley; nieces, Anita Bell, Carla McDaniel (Kendall); nephew, Wesley Keener (Chea); sisters-in-law, Barbara Palmer, Geneva Howell, Rhonda Leamons, Renee Leamons (Jay); brothers-inlaw, Elton Leamons (Carrie), Kent Leamons, Tony Leamons (Dee); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Harvey’s Chapel Baptist Church, with a celebration of life immediately following at 11 a.m. Brother Joe Thompson and Brother Tommy Freeman will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvey’s Chapel Youth Group.
