Patricia A. Goines

Patricia Ann (Young) Goines, was born on Jan. 29, 1961, to the late Annie Joseph and Paul Donson, in Hot Springs, Ark. God called her home on her Savior’s birthday, Dec. 25, 2021, to reunite with her parents and little brother.

Patricia will forever be remembered as the neighborhood mom, sister, TT (Aunt) and friend that has “no filter.” If you ever needed a place to lay your head or a meal, you could always count on Ms. Pat for both and much more.

She enjoyed cooking, fishing, shopping, listening to music, “talking smack” to everyone. Also, being the “go-to” hangout spot for all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Joseph; father, Paul Donson; step-father, Jerry Joseph; brother, Willie Donson; and ex-husband, Larry Goines. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and caretaker of many.

She leaves to cherish: her only beloved son, Jermain Young Sr. (Eboni), daughter in-law; grandsons that she raised as her own, Jermain Young Jr. and Javon Young; sisters, Rosie Donson, Madolyn Smith, Karen Smith; brother, James Paul Donson (Carolyn); and a host of nieces; nephews; great-nieces; aunts; cousins; neighborhood sons and daughters; friends and; special friend, JD Williams.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at Hot Springs Funeral Home.

Celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, in the Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Elsie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

The family will be at 140 Cooper St., Apt. 1-C, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
