-

Harold Del Debbio, 91, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021. He was born on Oct. 24, 1930, to the late Orlando and Silvia Del Debbio in Luca, Italy. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He was simply known by everyone as “Uncle Harold.” His greatest joy was chauffeuring Jojo and Marco and their friends to the movies, the skating rink, the mall and each other’s homes. He was a fixture at both Belle Arti and the Porterhouse and will be deeply missed by all. Less than 24 hours before he was received by his Lord and Savior, The Gargano’s had a wonderful visit with “Uncle Harold.” They shared stories, laughed, hugged and on each other. His very last words were “I love you.”

In lieu of flowers, the Gargano’s ask that you visit with family and share stories, laugh and hug as you never know when today is your last day to express your love for each other.

He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife, Joanne; and his brother, Giuliano; and his sister, Elda.

Survivors include his brothers, Giuliano and Michelangelo; numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews, in Chicago and Italy; and extended family and caregivers, Jo ad Penny Gargano and their children, Jojo and Marco Gargano.

As per his request, there will not be a visitation or funeral in Hot Springs, Ark. He will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife, Joanne Del Debbio, at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Chicago.
