“Big Ed,” as he was often called, was a loving father, brother and son, a devoted husband and an immensely proud Pawpaw, as evidenced by the huge smile he wore whenever he saw them, or talked about them. He was a very gifted and animated teller of jokes and stories. He enjoyed sports, but loved playing golf.
