HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Ida Mae Marie Porterfiel­d, 88, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., peacefully passed away on Jan. 4, 2022.

She was born in Kankakee, Ill., to Paul and Maude Spenard. Ida was the office manager for five cardiologi­sts before retiring and moving to Hot Springs Village, Ark., with her husband, James Pearman. She was preceded in death by both her husband and daughter, Kayce Bray.

She loved playing tennis and participat­ed in the Senior Olympics. She enjoyed golf and pickleball. Ida was an avid traveler and loved her yearly trips to Acapulco. She was active in many social groups. While she was a grief recovery counselor, she met her current husband, Clyde Jackson Porterfiel­d Jr., a counselor. She loved playing hand and foot with her friends. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Clyde; sister, Patti Landwehr; son, Patrick and Tanna Pearman of Reno; Meg and Jeff Esquivel of Austin; and Beth and Mike Duncan of Belton. Six grandchild­ren, Kori and Ronda Pearman of St. Louis, Kelly Kindt and Jack Pakis of Hot Springs, Troy Pearman of Reno, Elyse and Brandon Charleson of Utah, Cole Duncan of Galveston and David Duncan of Belton.

Four great-grandchild­ren, Alexis Widener of Hot Springs, Calleigh Charleson of Utah, Weston Charleson of Utah and Jackson James, J.J, Pakis of Hot Springs.

A memorial Mass was held Jan. 10 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Catholic Church, with Father Bill Elser officiatin­g.
