Mary A. Green

Mary Ann Green, 76, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022.

She was born Jan. 26, 1946, to Slyvester and Margaret Ray Howell in McNeil, Ark.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Howell, Slyvester Howell Jr.; sister, Shirley Howard; grandsons, Ashante Robinson, Shelton Mitchell.

She was a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She graduated from Foster High School in Lewisville, Ark. After moving to Hot Springs, Ark., she started working at Weyerhaeuser Lumber Co. as an operator with the debarker machine for several years and went on to retire with Weyerhaeuser years later.

Mary is survived by her children, Ralph Robinson of Texarkana, Ark., Pernell (Felicia Easter) Green, Walter (Synthia) Green, Rozeta (Muffin) Nevels, Herbert Green, all of Hot Springs, Ark., Jerry Seamster of Stamps, Ark., Linda (Robert) Thomas of Lewisville, Ark.; her sisters, Bobbie Willis of Lewisville, Ark., Mildred Wilborn of Lawton, Okla., Patsy Howard, Linda Faye Thomas, both of Mountain Pine, Ark., Juanita Smith of Lewisville, Ark., Patricia Silas of San Bernardino, Calif.; her sisters-in-law, Arcie Howard and Mildred Howard. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

The funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, the visitation will begin one hour prior at 10 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 103 McCurtain St., Mountain Pine, AR 71956. The burial will follow at Mountain Pine Cemetery.
